Budget phones got much better this year. Here are five we would recommend, in order of price.
- Nimbus Lite (INR 9,499): clean software and a two-day battery.
- Tarko M3 (INR 11,999): the brightest screen at the price.
- Aarna 5G (INR 12,999): cheapest phone with a headphone jack and 5G.
- Pixelo 8a (INR 13,999): best camera under 15,000.
- Vega Mini (INR 14,499): the only compact phone on the list.
All prices are demo figures. Check the exchange and bank offers before you buy, since they change weekly.
This is a demo story: every name, place, organisation and figure in it is fictional.
