We carried the Orbit 14 for two weeks of lectures, meetings and travel. At 1.2 kg it disappears in a backpack, and the aluminium lid has survived two bus rides without a mark.

The keyboard is the best part: deep keys, a firm click and a backlight that fades smoothly. The trackpad is large and accurate. The 1080p webcam is average but fine for calls.
